Lionbolt is considered a full rewrite of the wiscobolt program (released Oct 2023, author Muhsin H. Younis), which is now deprecated. The motivation for a rewrite was the desire to generalize wiscobolt from photon-electron Boltzmann transport, including some very rigid requirements on
